No live prices or current duty/tax rates are supplied. Purity is a fraction between 0 and 1, such as 0.995. Premium is applied to metal value, then tax to that subtotal. Actual invoices and import rules can use other bases; this is not a certified landed or resale price.
Formula and method
Fine-metal INR/gram = USD/troy oz × INR/USD ÷ 31.1034768. Multiply by grams × fineness. Add only the assumed premium and tax entered here.
Worked example
At fictional $2,000/oz and ₹80/USD, 10g at 0.995 fineness gives about ₹51,183.99 metal content before entered premiums/taxes.
